GK Invisible Stone Sealer has been developed using a short chain per-fluorinated polymer technology and is a major step forward in stone and concrete sealers. With a virtually invisible finish, it allows the stone to “breathe” whilst protecting it from all manner of substances.
The formula provides a waterproof, breathable, durable seal which can be used on all natural stone including polished concrete and sensitive materials such as honed granite and marble, as well as block paving and can even be used to seal Indian stone.
GK Invisible Stone Sealer offers enhanced durability, protecting stone from heavy footfall and wear and tear. It is made from a water-based formula that is safer to use than other stone sealers and kinder for the environment. However, it does offer protection against natural contaminants such as moss and algae.
Once applied, the sealant will not alter the appearance of the stone, ensuring your stone surface maintains its original, natural charm. The formula is ready to use and can be directly applied to non-treated stone surfaces.
How to Apply GK Invisible Stone Sealer
Preparation: Before applying GK Invisible Stone Sealer, conduct a small test on an inconspicuous area to ensure satisfactory results and calculate consumption. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, mould, and algae. You can treat any algae, mould, or lichen with GK Pro, GK Fungicidal Solution, or GK Greener Kleener. The recommended application temperature is between 10°C and 30°C.
Apply: Shake the container before use and conduct another small test for satisfactory results. Apply a generous, even coat with a brush, long-pile roller, or low-pressure spray until saturation. Mop up excess product to ensure an even application. For porous surfaces, apply additional coats while the previous coat is still wet, with one to three applications recommended for deeper penetration.
Finish: Remove excess product with a clean microfibre cloth to prevent dirt pickup.
